What is Consumer Writes really? Consumer Writes [CW] is a blog about my research/observations on commercial products and services available in the Philippines, focusing on local brands, in an attempt to applause or discredit these entrepreneurs or government agencies. CW also advocates "Buy Pinoy". We believe that buying our own products would strengthen not just our economy but also our sense of pride and nationalism.
CW Mission:
CW is a non-partisan and not an advertising channel / vehicle with a mission to empower every Filipino people / customers / tax payers to be on top with accurate information on every product or services so as we can choose wisely and to push the bad local product (or service) to redevelop or improve.
CW Motto:
A substandard product/service with a cheap price is much exorbitant (unreasonable) than its a lil' bit pricey competitor.
Apparently, PANA (Philippine Association of National Advertisers) and Adboard, even the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) has overlooked, if not forgotten, their responsibility to protect each rights of the consumers / taxpayers thus CW would attempt to initiate this liberty for it is time for every Filipino consumer to stand and fight because we deserve what we pay for.
CW hopes that you can join us in examining or to analyze the current strategies of businessmen (or shall we say 'capitalists) and government offices, if they apply the truth in their advertisement, ethical practice, responsibilities or if they deliver quality of service which every consumer deserves.
